How a match starts
- Play on the board above, or install the same app from Google Play or the App Store.
- Choose a variant. Backgammon, Plakoto, Narde, Gulbara and Tavla are the ones most people open first.
- Play against the computer with no account, sit with a friend on one device, or start an online game.
Online, offline, or in the same room
Online play can pair you with another player or with someone on your friends list. Each variant keeps its own Elo. Offline play does not need an account. Hot-seat is two people on one screen. Bluetooth is two devices on the same local connection.
Daily challenges, rush mode and a doubling cube are available on the variants that use them. Tavla and Shesh Besh, for example, are played without a cube.
